WOD Dictionary
Having watched my parents age and suffer from health issues, including strokes and dementia we decided we needed to be healthier to be around for our family longer. So we do what any self-respecting person does and jumped right into CrossFit. This has been quite the learning curve with literally hundreds of new terms thrown at us. So I decided to right an app that detailed the terms.
My primary goal has been privacy. There are no ads, and no user data of any kind saved either in the cloud or even on-device. I also wanted the app to run offline, meaning the entire dictionary is held in the app, on your device.
It has been a great project, and one that I has taught me so much along the way.
Recent Engagements
Google Workspace to M365 Migration
Successfully executed a comprehensive migration from a Google Workspace environment to Microsoft 365 and Azure for a startup client. The project ensured a seamless transition with complete data retention and minimal operational disruption.
Fleet Management System
The client previously relied on a highly manual, paper-based vehicle pre-check process across a nationwide fleet of hundreds of trucks. This inefficient workflow, requiring manual scanning, emailing, and spreadsheet data entry, resulted in significant administrative overhead and data integrity issues.
To resolve this, we engineered a digitised, user-friendly solution. Drivers now simply scan a QR code to complete their pre-checks directly on their mobile devices. This automated system instantly updates the client's central data repository and generates daily automated reports for fleet managers, eliminating manual data entry and drastically improving overall accuracy.
